After the free trial, when will I be charged & how much will it be?
You will be automatically charged after the 7-day free trial ends. The charge will be for the plan and billing cycle you have selected. During your free trial week, you can change your plan at any time.
To make a change, please message us at support@hellothinkster.com, and our team will assist you in updating your account.
What if I want to cancel my trial?
We want to make sure you feel happy and confident with your decision to join the Thinkster family! To make a change, message us at support@hellothinkster.com, and our team will help you cancel the trial.
When will I be billed?
You’ll be billed automatically after your free trial ends. After that, your subscription renews automatically based on your selected billing cycle — monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Are there any hidden fees?
Nope! Your subscription includes everything outlined in your plan — including tutor support, personalized worksheets, progress reports, and app access.
Do you allow subscription pauses?
- Each individual pause period may not exceed three (3) months.
- The total pause time is limited to four (4) months per calendar year.
- A 30-day notice is required.

If your next billing date is before your pause starts:
You’ll be charged a partial fee to cover the period between your next scheduled billing date and the day your pause begins.
Then, on your reactivation date (as shown in your settings), you’ll be charged your full semi-annual or annual membership fee. This will begin your new billing cycle from that date.
If you pause during your current billing cycle:
Your next scheduled billing date will be pushed back by the length of your pause. For example: If you pause for 2 months, your next billing date will be extended by 2 months.
You can reactivate your account during a pause at any time before the set date of reactivation, and the date on which you manually reactivate your account will become your new billing date.
How does your cancelation policy work?
We require a minimum of 30 days' notice to cancel. We do not provide refunds or credits for unused or partially used membership periods.
Monthly Billing Cycle:
- Your cancelation is effective 30 days from the date you send the cancelation request. You will have one final payment during this period, at which you will be charged a partial/prorated fee. This is for the period from your usual monthly billing date to the last day of service. You will continue to have full access to the program until the end of the 30-day period.
Quarterly & Annual Billing Cycles:
- Cancelation request sent more than 30 days before the end of your billing period:
- You will continue to have access until the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds or credits for unused or partially used membership periods. By choosing a quarterly or annual subscription, you are receiving a special discount by paying upfront for the entire period. This is why there are no mid-cycle cancelations. Affirm and PayPal Credit are absolutely nonrefundable, as your agreement is set directly with the chosen third-party financial company.
- Cancelation request sent less than 30 days before the end of your billing period:
- Your cancelation is effective 30 days from the date you send the cancelation request. You will have one final payment during this period, at which you will be charged a partial/prorated fee. This is for the period from your usual monthly billing date to the last day of service. You will continue to have full access to the program until the end of the 30-day period.
Additionally:
Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual Plans: These plans offer discounted rates and valuable savings in exchange for an upfront, full-period commitment. Because of this, mid-cycle cancelations are not permitted. In certain exceptional emergency circumstances, long-term plans may be canceled with 30 days’ notice. Any months already utilized, plus the 30-day notice period, will be billed at the standard monthly rate.
Affirm and PayPal Credit: Purchases made through Affirm or PayPal Credit are absolutely nonrefundable, as the terms are set directly with the chosen financial provider.
