How Does It Work?
Students must earn at least 7500 points to receive a $5 value card. (Amazon and Tango Reward Card issues $1 - $5 cards. 1500 points = $1).
For all other cards, students must earn 7500 points. If a student does not earn enough points, the points/dollar amount carries over and applies to the next month.
We issue all gift cards to students at one time! On the first of the month, we tally points for all students. The gift card is processed and sent to your registered email ID by the 15th - 22nd of the month.
* For example, if your child earned 7500 points in June, the gift card is sent to them during the 3rd week of July.
* If your child has earned reward money from previous months, they can expect to receive all accumulated gift cards at the start of the next month.
How to Choose a Gift Card
1. Please have your child open their profile on the app.
2. Click on the "Rewards" tab in the side navigation.
3. Select a gift card from the available options. This will lock in your gift card, which will be sent at the start of the next calendar month.
*The above gift cards are available for U.S.-based students. Other countries may have different redemption options available.
Frequently Asked Questions
We received a gift card, but would like to change our selection. Can we do that?
We cannot modify the retailer once a gift card is processed and sent. Please log in to the app and change your selection on the Rewards screen to receive future gift cards for your preferred retailer.
What should I do if I can't find the gift cards you have sent?
First, try searching your email/spam folder. The gift cards come from noreply@tangocard.com. If you still can't find the gift cards, please email us at support@hellothinkster.com, and we will forward them to you.
I'm having trouble redeeming a gift card. Can you help me?
