When your child logs in to the Elevate app for the very first time, they’ll be guided through a quick and friendly introduction to help get them started.
The Skill Check
The first thing they’ll see is a message inviting them to complete a Skill Check — this is our version of an initial assessment. We call it a "Skill Check" to make the experience feel encouraging and less intimidating for students.
The Skill Check helps us understand your child’s current strengths and learning needs so we can personalize their learning journey from day one.
After the Skill Check
Once your child finishes the Skill Check, they’ll see a summary of their results, including:
- A snapshot of current skill levels
- Areas where they’re already strong
- Topics that need a little extra support
- AI-powered recommendations to guide their learning path
This information helps both you and your child understand where they’re starting — and how Thinkster will support their growth and confidence in math.
